Trauma Work
Working with trauma requires a holistic approach, addressing mind, body, spirit, and environment. Much of trauma work focuses on building a sense of internal safety and connection, while helping the nervous system to shift out of old patterns of activation. Modalities such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Somatic practices are instrumental in this process. The relationship between therapist and client is essential to help individuals find a renewed sense of personal autonomy and trust in self.
